PACK & SEND Franchise Owner Wins National Franchising Award

Brisbane, Queensland – 18 October 2022

Kamran Kazmi of PACK & SEND Hilton has won Single Unit Franchisee of the Year, less than two staff at the recent 2022 FCA Excellence in Franchising Awards night in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. This event is the Australian Franchising Industry’s night-of-nights, celebrating and recognising outstanding achievements in the franchising industry, worth an estimated $155.1bn to the Australian economy.

After 20 years as a corporate banker, Kamran chose to leave behind a long and highly successful finance career, making the move to purchase a PACK & SEND franchise in 2019. Despite entering an industry with PACK & SEND that was completely new to him, Kamran has been able to draw on his finance and customer relationship expertise to successfully run his own business.Kamran Kazmi holding 2022 FCA Excellence in Franchising Award PACK & SEND

Only 3 years into his second career as a PACK & SEND Franchise Partner, Kamran has certainly been racking up the awards. In 2021 he took home the South Australian state FCA Excellence in Franchising Award for Single Unit Franchisee of the Year, less than two staff (SA). In a rare feat, Kamran took home the SA state award once again in 2022. Winners of state award automatically qualify as a finalist in the National FCA Awards, where their entries face off against the winners from the other states and territories.

The FCA Excellence in Franchising Awards is judged by a panel of judges, based on assessed criteria for each category. In 2022, Kamran Kazmi of PACK & SEND Hilton took it one step further by winning the National FCA Award as well. Furthermore, in July Kamran won the coveted Michael Paul Brand Ambassador Award at the PACK & SEND 2022 Annual Awards night.

Upon accepting the award on stage, Kamran was asked what he would say to someone looking at a PACK & SEND franchise, to which he replied “The PACK & SEND business model is a tested successful proven model for so long. Logistics and courier service is a growing industry. The good thing about PACK & SEND that they first provide a full flash training before starting the franchise and afterwards the support system is amazing.”

The PACK & SEND business model continues to go from strength to strength. Despite tightening economic conditions, the brand is set to earn record revenues yet again in 2022. PACK & SEND has also grown its Franchised Retail Network in 2022 by opening an additional 11 new Franchise locations across Australia, bringing the total number of operating Service Centre locations to 124 during the calendar year.

Founded in 1993, Pack & Send is Australia’s leading courier and freight reseller, servicing customers with value-add solutions for both outbound and inbound parcels. The company brings services to its customers through a network of service centres, logistics fulfilment centres, call centre, online courier booking systems and online retail integrations.
