Small Business Grant - PACK & SEND

The Inaugural PACK & SEND Small Business Logistics Grant is our way of giving back to Australia's small businesses. PACK & SEND will be awarding the most outstanding entrant $10,000 worth of courier and freight services, allowing more time and money for innovation and creativity.

We received so many outstanding entries, so it was no easy task, but our judges have now narrowed down the list to the top 8 finalists!

We're arranging flights and accommodation for all interstate finalists to attend the PACK & SEND Small Business Grant Awards event in Sydney on March 23rd.  On the night, one of these lucky eight finalists will win $10,000 worth of parcel courier and freighting services, business development coaching from Hannah Staples (Peppermint Grove Australia) and a PACK & SEND Account Manager to provide parcel courier and freighting advice.

So who are the finalists?
In no particular order, here they are:

Fleurieu Gifts

Fleurieu Gifts creates living, eco-friendly alternative to cut flowers, beautiful gifts inspired by South Australia’s stunning Fleurieu Peninsula.

Created by hand and gift-wrapped with care, all Fleurieu garden gifts show thought, style and charm. Established in 2014 by Charlene Maney, Fleurieu Gifts is an online business that delivers its locally sourced products throughout Adelaide, and to most states in Australia.

Instead of gifting a flower bouquet that may last only a short time, give a gift that keeps on giving.

Good360 Australia

Good360 is a brand-new way for making good happen. Good360 is a means for businesses to donate new unsold goods to charities and other not-for-profit organisations.

Discovered in the USA by Alison Covington, the business exceeded expectations in terms of innovation and efficiency, massing $12 billion worth of goods, including clothes, toys, school supplies, personal care and more.

Good360 is a platform that provides charities a one stop destination for accessing non-perishable goods from Australia leading brands.

Tuesday Vintage

Tuesday Vintage is an online creative platform and store where inspired individuals can showcase their innovative design and work.

Founder, stylist, and user of the original platform Rachel March established the site in 2012, “each piece has a story of its own - recycled, retold and relived in every new home that it enters”.

Due to the rapid growth of Tuesday Vintage, it now sees a wide variety of creative work including styling, full directed shoots, brand collaborations, look books & design. Tuesday Vintage will forever offer eccentric pieces like no other.

 BasiK Organics

Based out of Melbourne, BasiK Organics creates 100% organic skin care products for the whole family, with a focus on baby, pregnancy and beyond.

Each product is all made by hand in Melbourne, using Bisphenol-A (BPA) free packaging, that can be recycled multiple times without losing its strength. BasiK Organics has created a brand that stands for quality, integrity, honesty and effectiveness.

Finding a brand with positive intentions like this is certainly a rarity in a loosely regulated industry that is led by brands freely using words like ‘natural’ and ‘organic’ when they in fact are not.

Print & Party

Print & Party is a boutique stationery business. Taking pride in designing beautiful invitations, party printables, typography prints, baby milestone cards and more.

With an extensive range of ready to go designs and custom designs on request, Print & Party pride themselves on attention to detail and excellent customer service.

Print & Party offer digitally or printed range that caters to all budgets, servicing both nationally and internationally.

 Minouche

Ally Mahoney, founder and designer of Minouche, produces mid-high end apparel for babies and girls.

The clothing is designed in Ally’s home in Sydney, manufactured ethically in Bali, then shipped to retail and wholesale customers here in Australia and internationally. Minouche has seen steady growth since opening online in August 2015. Over the 18-month period order volume have steadily increased.

Minouche is stocked in stores nationally and internationally, with additional retails coming on board in 2017, assuring a promising future.

Twincredible by Flat Out Mum

Twincredible is a pillow that enables one adult the safest & most efficient way to bottle feed two babies at once. Designed by an Aussie mum of twins, Olivia Anderson, the Twincredible pillow is a unique & much loved product growing awareness amongst the twin community.

New born twins require 16 feeds every day in total, amounting to almost 3000 feeds in just six months. This product assists with one of the most stressful times of their young lives.

The twincedible pilllow is only available at twincredible.com.au & is despatched nationally & internationally from Olivia's home-based office in Melbourne.

Little Wooden Toybox

Little Wooden Toybox have a passion for children becoming successful lifelong learners.  They believe a promising future is starts right at the beginning, through play-based learning in early childhood.

Little Wooden Toybox work with mums to educate and equip them to teach their children to learn through play, particularly with wooden toys. The overall vision is to empower mums and set up community centres Australia wide where families are supported, accepted and educated 
- to sell high quality wooden toys that promote learning through play.
