On 17 & 18 August 2017 our Field Support Managers attended a workshop hosted by the Franchise Council of Australia. Nick Kokarevski, our Victorian-based Field Support Manager attended the course in Melbourne, while Zac Pupunceski and Mike Smart, based in our NSW Head Office, attended the course in Sydney.

At PACK & SEND, we strongly believe in the importance of staying up-to-date with industry changes and engaging our staff in regular training to advance their professional skills.  As part of the franchise industry , we are conscious of the fact that it is not enough to just educate our Franchisees, but it is also important for us to constantly update our knowledge and engage in the wider franchise community.

This course successfully equipped our Field Support Managers with tools to effectively read benchmark reports and taught them how to identify certain triggers for sales performance. It also introduced new methods of helping Franchisees perform at their optimum level. Nick, Zac, and Mike obtained valuable insights from this workshop which they are now ready to incorporate in the field.

This workshop was hosted by Jason Gehrke, Director of the Franchise Advisory Centre. Jason Gehrke has more than 25 years of experience in the franchise sector. He is a Director of the Franchise Council of Australia, a past chairman of the World Franchise Council, and a director of Inspirations Paint, a franchise-owned chain of 132 stores. He publishes Franchise News, Australia’s leading email bulletin on franchise trends and issues. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Griffith University, and wrote Australia’s first free online Franchisee education program which has been undertaken by more than 14,000 potential Franchisees.
