The highly prestigious 2019 Franchisee of The Year Award was announced over the weekend at the PACK & SEND ‘Beyond Better’ Conference held at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort on the Gold Coast.
Attended by franchisees across PACK & SEND’s 105 Australian store network and representatives of PACK & SEND’s suppliers, there was much anticipation as MC for the night, Olympic medallist, sports presenter and CEO of AFL Women’s League, Nicole Livingston introduced the finalists.
Presented by CEO and Founder Michael Paul, the Australian Franchisee of the Year award was won by the husband and wife team of Michael and Rochelle Jamie of PACK & SEND Penrith.
Michael Paul said the award is the highest annual honor that can be bestowed upon a PACK & SEND franchisee. “Michael and Rochelle are well deserved winners, having consistently grown their sales revenue since joining the brand in 2014 with an impressive 15% compound annual growth rate whilst providing a very high standard of customer service. They are also exemplary team players” Paul said.
The award was based on a range of judging criteria including: 5-star customer reviews received, sales and profit growth performance, customer service and contribution and assistance to Head Office, brand and the franchisee group.
In accepting the award on the night, Michael and Rochelle Jamie thanked their staff past and present, fellow franchisees, their customers and the PACK & SEND franchise support team. “Being a PACK & SEND franchise owner has been a wonderful journey for us and we look forward to continuing to provide first class service to our growing customer base” said Michael.
