PACK & SEND Earns 5 Star Franchise Rating For 5th Consecutive Year

Australia’s leading parcel and freight reseller PACK & SEND continues to go from strength to strength. On the back of record sales and network expansion, the award-winning brand has retained its 5-star rating under the Australian Franchise Rating Scale for the 5th consecutive year.

The independent rating assessment was conducted by respected franchise and information specialist FRANdata. Under the Australian Franchise Rating Scale, franchise systems are measured on seven key performance standards. These include;

  • franchisee financial performance
  • satisfaction
  • engagement
  • franchisor training and support
  • compliance

The performance outcome metric is a graduated star rating scale (with five being the highest).

Darryn McAuliffe, CEO of FRANdata, said the review team was particularly impressed with PACK & SEND’s innovation, investment in technology, transparency to franchisees, and support services, particularly during the pandemic.

“Franchisor support is of great importance to potential franchisees, and in an increasingly disruptive digital world there is no doubt that the technological innovations and resources at hand are important for franchisees, not only providing confidence in the brand but giving franchisees the tools to win more customers,” said McAuliffe.

“PACK & SEND also has very strong stability, further strengthened as a result of the acquisition by MBE Worldwide in March 2021, which gives it the capacity to reinvest in its franchise business system. This is not only attractive to prospective franchisees, but also to Lenders, when assessing finance applications for franchisees” said McAuliffe.

Country Manager of PACK & SEND Nicholas Woodward said it’s great to have our brand and business model assessed and recognised for the 4th year in a row, by a reputable independent party in FRANdata.

“The 5-star rating reflects the strength of our proven franchise model and the breadth of ongoing support provided to our valued Franchise Partners” said Woodward. “As an example, we’ve developed and introduced new tools and support programs enabling our franchise partners to grow their businesses at an unprecedented pace in the booming freight, parcel and ecommerce markets” Woodward said.

Woodward remarked “Our significant investment in technology provides our franchise partners with streamlined ecommerce customer solutions, additional sales opportunities and increased productivity. There is no other parcel shop network in the world that has the range of shipping and ecommerce technology solutions available to its customers and franchise partners”.
